Some things aren't meant to be talked through. They're meant to be sounded out.
When was the last time you let yourself make a sound without worrying about how it sounded?
Not to perform. Not to sing beautifully. Not to get it right. Just to express yourself. Fully. Freely. Without apology.
Voice & Rhythm is a 75-minute experiential gathering for women who are ready to get out of their heads, into their bodies, and rediscover the freedom of their own natural expression.
Through rhythm, drumming, humming, breath, movement, and spontaneous vocal expression, we'll explore what happens when we give ourselves permission to make noise, take up space, and be heard.
Our bodies carry so much that words can't always reach. Joy. Grief. Frustration. Longing. Excitement. The parts of ourselves we've quieted, contained, or forgotten. Sound offers another way to meet what's alive within us.
Together, we'll create a living soundscape of rhythm and voice. Sometimes playful. Sometimes powerful. Sometimes tender. Sometimes wonderfully wild.
There is no choreography to learn, no song to memorize, and absolutely no requirement to have a "good voice." You don't need to know how to sing. You only need to be willing to sound.

This Circle Is for You If…
- You spend a lot of time thinking, processing, or taking care of everyone else and want to reconnect with yourself.
- You're curious about using your voice as a tool for embodiment, creativity, and authentic expression.
- You're navigating grief, change, transition, or a season of personal awakening.
- You've been told you're too loud, too emotional, too much—or you've learned to make yourself smaller.
- You simply want to laugh, drum, make beautiful noise, and feel more alive.
You do not need to be grieving, healing from anything, or on a particular spiritual path to participate.
Joy is welcome here. Grief is welcome here. Silence is welcome here. All of you is welcome here.
What to Bring
A drum, hand percussion instrument, or something you can safely tap for rhythm. Your hands and body work beautifully, too!
Bring water, a comfortable place to sit or move, and a willingness to explore. Joining on Zoom? Headphones are optional. Because Zoom has audio limitations, some group sounding will happen with microphones muted, allowing you to enjoy your own expression without interruption.
You will always be invited, never pressured, to participate. You are free to rest, listen, or modify any practice.
