Hello. I'm Joya.
People who meet me now have a hard time believing I was ever miserable. But I was. I'm a childhood trauma survivor and a suicide attempt survivor. In a near-death experience, I heard the music of the spheres or what I call music made of Light. That music became my purpose. It's why I'm here.
Grief. Pain. Loss. Sorrow. It doesn't matter how you came by them. I've never met a human who hasn't crossed at least one of these thresholds. And I've come to know that the wound is exactly where the treasure waits, if you have the courage to walk all the way in.
It hurts like hell. It's a change no one asks for. But somewhere inside that pain, some of us begin having experiences we can't explain: visitations, a peace that surpasses understanding, synchronicities that feel like divine breadcrumbs, dreams more real than waking. A sudden knowing that there is so much more than what we can see.
I was born a mystic, but my path went through the dark - addiction, homelessness, spiritual amnesia. My greatest initiation came in 2025, when my son crossed over, and his message became the heartbeat of my work:
"Momulus, you have to teach people: death is not the end. It's the beginning. People have to wake up in the game."
He gave me Seven Sacred Frequencies for Grieving Awake. I wrote the book in hopes our journey helps someone else.
Through sound, voice, movement, art, and meditation, I hold sacred circles for those walking their own thresholds so they can be held, witnessed, and reminded of who they truly are.
Because I know what my son knows: death is not the end. It's another beginning. We are each here for our soul’s purpose and while the expressions are all different, the purpose is the same:
Love is. You are that. Be only love.
And Love never dies.
